About comedy shows in the RGV

Big-name stand-up comedians tour through the Valley all year, mostly at the McAllen Performing Arts Center. You will also find comedy nights and variety shows at local theaters, bars and RV resorts in winter.

Most stand-up is for adults. Check the venue page for age rules, and times can change, so check before you go.

Questions people ask

Where do comedians perform in the RGV?

Most touring stand-up shows play the McAllen Performing Arts Center. Others play Payne Arena in Hidalgo, Bert Ogden Arena in Edinburg and smaller theaters and bars around the Valley.

Are comedy shows family friendly?

Most stand-up is for adults, with strong language. We only mark a comedy show family friendly when the organizer says it is for all ages.

How do I buy comedy tickets?

Each show page links to the official seller or the venue. Buy from the official link to avoid marked-up resale tickets.
