About Halloween in the RGV

Halloween in the Valley runs all month. Churches, schools and cities host free trunk or treats, where kids collect candy from decorated car trunks. Parks and farms run haunted trails and pumpkin patches, and markets add costume contests and spooky vendor nights. The busiest nights are the last weekend of October and Halloween night itself.

Most trunk or treats are free and aimed at families with young kids. Haunted houses and trails often charge a ticket. We list prices when organizers post them and add new events as they are announced, so check back during the week.
